First, there was the Hudson Bay fur trade trail. Then stagecoaches and the railway and now O'Keefe Ranch is easy to find about 12 km. north of Vernon on Highway 97 (follow the signs to Kamloops going north from Vernon or south from Armstrong).

In keeping with its history as a major destination for travelers, the Ranch is fully equipped for an interesting, relaxing and satisfying vacation stop. There's plenty of parking, public washrooms, a full-service restaurant and our wine shop is tucked in a Gift Shop filled with a beautiful array of giftware and souvenir items. A full selection of Hunting Hawk Winery wines are available and TASTING IS FREE!

Get off the busy, noisy highway and enjoy one of the most peaceful and scenic country drives anywhere.

Hunting Hawk Vineyards is located just north of Armstrong off Highway 97A. Turn west on Lansdowne Road and follow the signs about six kilometres (all paved) through verdant farmland framed by blue-green mountains and refreshed by the clean air. You'll pass the recently replanted vineyard as you start to descend a short hill (the road is well-maintained gravel for the last 500 metres) to lovely little valley that seems a world apart.

The winery, tasting room and new art gallery are in the large house at the bottom of the hill on the right. A beautiful creek flows through the forest on the property.
